Aamir Khan goes back to school for shooting

amir Khan, who plays legendary wrestler Mahavir Phogat in Nitesh Tiwari's biographical sports drama 'Dangal', has been shooting for the film in various parts of Punjab since September. The superstar recently filmed for a crucial sequence in one of the oldest schools in the state, located in Gujjarwal, a village in the Ludhiana district. 

"It's an important sequence where Phogat is seen visiting The Government Senior Secondary School, which was established in 1857. Aamir was thrilled to shoot there.He also met the school's prin cipal and his family, who were excited to meet him," says a source from the sets.

During his visit, Aamir also found out that Sikh freedom fighter Kartar Singh Sarabha was one of the school's alumnus. "The Dangal team shot in the school for three days last week and will be returning in a few days. The schedule is expected to wrap up in December," adds the source. 

Incidentally, the 50-yearold actor also shot in Dango, another village in the Ludhiana district, which also happens to be veteran actor Dharmendra's ancestral village. 

Aamir spoke to Dharmendra and promised to organise a special screening of his film once it is completed.
