‘Khiladi 786’ collects 34 crores in four day

Akshay Kumar & Asin starrer ‘Khiladi 786’ which received mixed reviews from the film critics and mixed response from the audience has made a promising collection at the box-office. The movie has made a good business in single theatres but had a poor show at multiplexes. ‘Khiladi 786’ makes a total 34 crore on its fourth day.

In states like UP, Bihar, the film really showed high in mark. In the opening day, the film showed 90% occupancy. Going by the recent box-office record, the film failed to match with the box-office collection of the recent release like like Talaash, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar. Khiladi 786 is directed by Ashish R Mohan and produced by Twinkle Khanna, Sunil Lulla and Himesh Reshammiya. 

Released in 2,785 screens in the country, the film was expected to cross Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic Box Office in the first weekend, but unfortunately it failed. Poor script is the reason cited for the film’s downfall. The film’s collection collapsed on Monday.

Akshay Kumar had a good and successful 2012. Except ‘Khiladi 786’, all his films ‘Rowdy Rathore,Housefull 2 and his home production OMG!Oh My God spelled magic at the box-office and crossed 100 crore mark.

In the personal front also this year has been amazing for Akshay Kumar. After 10 years, he and Twinkle again blessed with a baby. Twinkle gave birth to a baby girl and they named their daughter, Nitara.
