Karan Johar's students are indeed an elated lot, what with the film just hours away from release. One can pretty much sense that Alia Bhatt is finding herself in a dream state, what with all the recognition coming her way even when the film is yet to be screened for the 'aam janta'. Compliments coming in from industry bigwigs who have already watched the film are a testimony of that.
"Yes, it is a dream world for sure but a little scary", she smiles, "I understand that the faster you climb, the bigger is a fall. The only thing that I am thinking today is the film's release and not really worrying about what is going to happen next. It feels so nice when so many people start recognising you. It lends a happy feeling and I sure have been touched."
How about her dad, Mahesh Bhatt? He recently sent out a tweet that read, 'Karan Johar's SOTY is a winner! Everything in the movie works. The three newcomers work like magic. It has lots of heart. It's a blockbuster!
"Well, as you can see from his tweet, he is the most excited of the lot", Alia gets emotional here. "He has been sharing feedback with me on a constant basis. Whenever he likes something, he tells me that can see me being comfortable into the scheme of things."
Here is hoping that audiences too say the same when STUDENT OF THE YEAR with music by, Vishal and Shekhar releases all over this Friday.
